Recipes Banana Bread
This is a very rich and moist bread that goes well with a good, strong cup of coffee. It’s quick to make and creates very little mess.
Banana Rum Bread
1 large ripe banana (mashed)
1/4 c. dark Jamaica rum
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 box butter recipe cake mix
Butter for buttering baking dish
Mash the banana to make about a 1/2 cup of fruit. Blend with eggs, rum, sour cream, and nutmeg. Beat into cake mix until smooth. Butter 9’x5’x3′ loaf pan and pour batter in. Bake at 325 degrees F for 70 to 75 minutes. Place on wire rack and cool thoroughly before removing from the pan.
The serving number varies depending on how large the slices are desired.
