Simple and Easy Homemade Salad Croutons
If you’ve always wanted to jazz up your salads at home, try these homemade croutons!
4 cups fresh French Bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 lb unsalted butter
1 cup grated Romano Cheese
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter and let it stand for 10 minutes. In a bowl, toss the bread and butter, evenly coating the bread cubes. Place the cubed bread on a baking tray and put the tray in the oven. Bake croutons for 15 minutes; shaking the tray from time to time to prevent the croutons from sticking to the tray. Remove croutons from the oven and place them in a bowl. Add the grated cheese and toss well. Once croutons have cooled, add them to your tossed salad.
